On December 5, 2014, at the Gymnasium School no. 13, sector 1, at 15:00, will launch the project funded by the European Commission within the VET learnerand staff mobility action within the Erasmus + Program, entitled, “Innovative models applicable in educational systems, focused on the ecological education of students, which aims at the conservation of biodiversity and the rational use of natural resources ”, by the applicantAssociation for Sustainable Development in Education. 2014-1-RO01-KA102-001033
PURPOSE:
Personal and professional development of teachers from all curricular areas of the school for the management of theoretical and practical activities that ensure the protection of the environment and the conservation of biodiversity, to collaborate with other teachers from other departments, to assume the responsibilities in a partnership, to respect rules of behavior within the team, to use current information and communication technology for teaching, to motivate students to want to learn more SPECIFIC
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT:
- Improving competences by experimenting with innovative methods and practices for integrating sustainable development and active citizenship into the education program for 24 mobility participants – teachers, trainers, professionals in charge of training, authors of textbooks;
- Development of the language skills of the 24 mobility participants;
- Elaboration of a practical guide in which are presented principles of education for a sustainable development and active citizenship, methods and tools used in environmental education;
- Presentation of green energy campaigns and proposals for innovative school projects or innovative projects in communities by mobility participants.
ACTIVITIES:
- Information and selection of participants in the mobility program in Greece;
- Pedagogical, linguistic and cultural training activities;
- Conducting the training program for 24 teachers, in Greece, in 2 streams;
- Monitoring and evaluation of the training program and the activity of the participants in Greece;
- Dissemination and enhancement of the project and the results obtained;
- Reporting made by each participant and reporting of the management team, on the project;
RESULTS:
- Certification of skills and knowledge acquired in accordance with national provisions by granting the EUROPASS Mobility Certificate for participants;
- In-depth communication skills in English for the 24 participants in the training program;
- The guide of good practices comprising the principles of education for sustainable development and active citizenship, as well as the methods and tools used in environmental education by the transnational partner;
